Tara and Bill had made a short pandemic tradition of retreating to a rustic CCC cabin in beautiful Cabwaylingo State Park, West Virginia during the Thanksgiving Weeks of 2020 & 2021. These we very creative times for us and we were quite disappointed that the park cabins will not be open this year - 2022 - after Nov. 1.
One afternoon during the 2021 stay, Tara was looking out our cabin window while we rocked in chairs by the fire. A blustery & cold Autumn day in the mountains of West Virginia. As I was playing with a new percussive ukulele riff, this song came to Tara.
