Welcome! Our first Album follows the flow of one of our Lunar Sound Meditations & Gong Baths! The first three of the musical pieces presented here were written and composed on Tara & Bill's  10-day Assateague Island beach camping trip in 2021. The Recording, Engineering, Mixing and Mastering for all tracks (except SARVEŚAM) expertly handled by Jeff Bosley and Sounds Good Studios, LLC in Lincoln County, West Virginia.

(6:03)  HAṂSA literally means "I am That":   HAṂ = I,  SA = That. Haṃsa is a multivalent sanskrit word that can mean a graceful white aquatic bird (similar to a swan), the vahana (conveyance) of Śri Saraswatī. This bird can represent the life force, prāṇa, and can be visualized as surfing on our breath. In some yoga traditions the sound "Haṃ Sa" is said to be the primordial sound of breath, and thus life itself. Cozmic Water will often incorporate a Haṃsa meditation from the 9th century vijñānabhairavatantra into our practices.

(10:48) Tattvas, or foundational properties of reality, underly Indian philosophy. The five great Elements (mahābhūta) are the tattvas most manifest in our perceived reality.  Bhūta śuddhi, the meditative alignment of the subtle body with the elements, was a daily yoga ritual for nearly a millennium. Cozmic Water often incorporates this ritual into our practices. This musical piece grew out of the practice and is now an integral component of our rendition of this ritual.

(7:36) A Magically Delicious juxtaposition of a rare ancient mantra with the recognition of the attributes of a Sweet Life within ourselves. Cozmic Water soundscaped practices are ripe with opportunities for this deeper recognition of our own completeness and wholeness. This meditative piece can act as a pointer to this possibility in our own life.

(11:16) This fun up-beat piece was inspired by the wonderful artwork outside of the FreeFolk Microbrewery in one of the "coolest towns" in America - Fayetteville, West Virginia. Pure Freedom is the result of Yoga.

(7:32). SARVEŚAM is a śanti mantra inspired by the Bṛhadāraṇyaka Upaniṣad.  It is a mantra of universal bountiful blessings of wellness, opulence and peace for the whole world. Cozmic Water enjoys chanting this as our friends gather and disperse.
